“Mild green heat” – 3/10
This is one of our two fermented cultivar range of sauces. We age Jalapeno peppers 6 to 12 months to create a sharp, tangy sauce with the mild heat of the Jalapeno Pepper. This is the same recipe as the Habanasco Sauce, except using Jalapenos. Expect a dark green, easy flowing fermented, umami-flavored, Tabasco-style sauce on the medium spectrum of spiciness. It’s great to spice up any dish including pizza, chicken, meat, or fish.
Our Jalanasco – Fermented Jalapeno Sauce is vinegar forward, which means it works perfectly to cut through the richness of a dish and bring much-needed acidity to any food. We love it on avocado toast or used in guacamole! Our recipe developers tried it on fish tacos, and now they swear by it!
It’s great to spice up any dish including pizza, chicken, meat, or fish, and especially eggs.
